Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with fatty liver disease (MASLD) using a special scan (VCTE-CAP), which measures fat and stiffness in your liver.
  • You do not drink more than 2 alcoholic drinks a day (for men) or more than 1 drink a day (for women).
  • You have never tested positive for hepatitis B or C.
  • You do not have autoimmune hepatitis or other metabolic liver conditions (like Wilson’s or hemochromatosis).
  • You have no known liver tumors or nodules.
