Comparing two techniques to fix narrowed blood vessels in dialysis patients

Who can take part

  • You are receiving hemodialysis through an AV fistula (a surgically connected artery and vein).
  • The vein used for dialysis has narrowed again (re-stenosis), as shown by imaging tests.
  • You have had at least one previous balloon angioplasty on the same vein.
  • You are willing and able to come for follow-up visits for 6 months.
  • You have health insurance coverage.
