Fiber smoothie trial for knee replacement patients

  • You are between 40 and 80 years old
  • You have osteoarthritis and need a revision (redo) of your total knee replacement
  • You have at least two chronic health conditions like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, or asthma
  • Your health is generally stable (no severe or life-threatening diseases)
  • You are willing to come to the New York City hospital for all appointments and follow the smoothie plan
