Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are in generally good health (mild medical conditions are okay).
  • You are not scheduled to go to the intensive care unit right after surgery, and muscle monitoring can start within 10 minutes of waking up.
  • You do not take medicines that affect muscle activity.
  • You are not allergic to drugs that temporarily relax muscles during surgery.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have a nerve or muscle disease.
