Who can take part
- You have papillary thyroid cancer confirmed by a needle biopsy (TIR 4 or 5).
- You are scheduled to have all or part of your thyroid removed (lobectomy or total thyroidectomy).
- No evidence of cancer in your neck lymph nodes before surgery (by feel or ultrasound).
- No cancer spread to other organs found before surgery.
- You are 18 years or older.
- You agree to participate and sign a consent form.
