Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a thyroid nodule that is 11 to 40 mm large and it is confirmed to be papillary thyroid cancer (by biopsy or during surgery).
- Your neck ultrasound shows no suspicious lymph nodes, and the cancer has not spread outside the thyroid.
- You are generally healthy enough for surgery, with no major organ problems.
- You have not had another cancer (except for some skin cancers or cervical cancer in situ), no neck radiation, and no deep neck surgery in the past.
