Home brain stimulation for depression in MS

This study tests whether a special, gentle brain stimulation device you can use at home (called tDCS) can help improve depression symptoms in people with multiple sclerosis. You will be supervised over video during the sessions to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 65 years old
  • You have relapsing-remitting or secondary progressive multiple sclerosis
  • Your MS and depression medications have been the same for at least 30 days
  • You haven't had an MS relapse, new brain lesions, or steroid treatment in the last 30 days
  • You have access to a local doctor who can be contacted if needed
  • You are comfortable using a mobile device for video calls and can follow instructions remotely
