Who can take part

  • You are between 50 and 80 years old.
  • You have had type 1 diabetes for at least 10 years.
  • You use insulin injections or an insulin pump.
  • You can take part in all study activities.
  • You do not have a condition like dementia, heart failure, muscle disease, or uncontrolled thyroid problems.
  • You are not pregnant, do not have active cancer, and do not take certain medications (like steroids or immunosuppressants).
