Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must have been diagnosed with lung cancer (biopsy proven).
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy (photon or proton) as part of your treatment.
  • You must be able to hold your breath for 10–12 seconds.
  • You can have an MRI (no severe claustrophobia, no metal implants, etc.).
  • You will receive your follow-up care at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
