Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • This is your first blood clot (deep vein thrombosis) in your leg.
  • You were hospitalized at the emergency department for this clot.
  • You are able to cooperate both mentally and physically (for example, can follow instructions and move to do walking exercises).
  • You have a Danish social security number.
  • You are not terminally ill (with a life expectancy of months or less).
  • You can understand and speak Danish.
