Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with interstitial lung disease (a group of lung conditions causing scarring).
- Your lung function test (DLCO) is less than 30% of the expected value, measured within the last 6 months.
- You are willing to have an echocardiogram and right heart catheterization if needed.
- You do not already have a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and have not taken specific medicines for it.
- You have not had a right heart catheterization in the past year, and you do not have any condition (like pregnancy or a mechanical heart valve) that makes this test unsafe.
