Who can take part

  • You must be between 50 and 85 years old.
  • You must have had a 12-lead EKG in the last 3 months.
  • You cannot already have a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension.
  • You cannot have certain other heart muscle diseases, like hypertrophic or restrictive cardiomyopathy.
  • You cannot have had a heart, lung, or heart-lung transplant.
  • You must not have had high blood pressure in your lungs (over 50 mmHg) seen on a recent echocardiogram.
