Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your BMI must be between 20 and 24.9 (healthy weight) or over 28 (overweight).
  • If you are a woman of childbearing age, you must use a single-phase hormonal contraceptive (like Nuvaring).
  • You cannot smoke or have a history of drug or alcohol abuse.
  • You cannot take certain medications that affect blood sugar or the nervous system (like antidepressants, beta blockers, or seizure drugs).
  • You cannot have heart, neurological, or certain other medical conditions (like glaucoma, thyroid problems, or liver/kidney issues).
