Who can take part

  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be over 28.
  • You must be using a single-phase hormonal contraceptive (like certain birth control pills).
  • You should not have any major medical condition that a doctor thinks could pose a risk.
  • Your hemoglobin levels must be normal (at least 12 g/dL for women, 14 g/dL for men).
  • You must not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
