Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 70 years old.
  • You have a newly diagnosed type of nasopharyngeal cancer called non-keratinizing (WHO type II or III) that is stage I (early, hasn't spread).
  • After 50.88 Gy of radiation, your tumor completely disappeared and blood tests show no detectable EBV DNA.
  • You are in good general health (ECOG score 0-1) and your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within acceptable ranges.
  • You have not had radiation, chemotherapy, or targeted therapy for cancer before.
  • If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you agree to use contraception during the study.
