Who can take part

  • You are a medical trainee in emergency medicine, anesthesia, critical care, toxicology, pediatrics, or neonatology.
  • Your hearing and eyesight are normal (or corrected with glasses or contacts).
  • You do not have a history of psychiatric disorders, memory or thinking problems, or heart rhythm issues.
  • You are not taking medications that affect your mood or heart (like antidepressants, stimulants, or heart meds).
  • You have not had a major stressful life event (like a death in the family) in the last 6 months.
  • You have not had formal, ongoing meditation training before.
