Who can take part

  • You have MDS, or an MDS/MPS overlap condition (like certain CMML or RARS-T types).
  • Your doctor believes you may respond to these medicines based on past evidence—often because your disease has symptoms like anemia or low platelets, or you need blood/platelet transfusions.
  • Your MDS risk level is not the highest-risk group (high/very high or intermediate-2 and above).
  • You have enough strength to do study tasks (Karnofsky performance score 60% or higher).
  • Your liver tests are not too high (AST/ALT under 3× normal; bilirubin under 1.5× normal).
  • You can sign consent and do required study visits and procedures.
