Anticoagulation plus immunosuppression for Behcet's vein clots

Behcet DiseaseBehcet Disease and Vascular InvolvementDeep Venous ThrombosesPost Thrombotic Syndrome

Part of Eyes & vision, Genetic & congenital, Heart & circulation, Mouth & dental, Skin clinical trials.

This trial compares standard immunosuppressive therapy alone versus adding a blood thinner (rivaroxaban) for treating newly diagnosed blood clots in the legs of people with Behcet's disease. It aims to see if adding the anticoagulant improves clot resolution without increasing bleeding risk.

Steroids with or without blood thinners for Behçet's vein clots

This trial tests whether adding a blood thinner (anticoagulant) to steroid therapy is more effective than steroids alone for treating deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in a large vein) in people with Behçet's syndrome. It aims to find the best way to prevent future clots and reduce side effects.

Study drugs for blood-vessel Behçet’s to reduce inflammation

This Phase 2 trial tests tocilizumab and tofacitinib to see if they can better control vascular (blood-vessel) Behçet’s syndrome. It may help by lowering inflammation and reducing complications from aneurysms in the aorta or peripheral arteries.

Blood Clots and Behçet's Disease Study

This study looks at how Behçet's disease affects blood clotting. If you have Behçet's disease and are between 18–70, you may help doctors understand why some people with Behçet's develop dangerous blood clots.

Vein thickness and inflammation in Behcet disease

This study looks at how the thickness of the femoral vein wall and certain markers of inflammation relate to Behcet disease. It may help doctors better understand and monitor the condition.

Study of HSK44459 for Behçet's disease with mouth ulcers

This trial tests an experimental pill, HSK44459, for people with Behçet's disease who have frequent mouth ulcers. It aims to see if the drug can safely reduce ulcer episodes and improve symptoms.

NCT06965998Recruiting· Phase 2/Phase 3
Comparing two doses of rivaroxaban for leg vein clots

This trial tests if a full dose of rivaroxaban (a blood thinner) works better than a lower preventive dose for treating a superficial vein clot in the leg. It aims to find the safest and most effective way to stop the clot from getting worse or causing a more serious clot.
