T-DM1 after T-DXd for advanced HER2-positive breast cancer

This trial looks at whether a different targeted therapy, T-DM1, can work for women with advanced HER2-positive breast cancer after they have already tried another targeted therapy called T-DXd (Enhertu). If you have progressed while on T-DXd and have not had more than three previous treatments for advanced cancer, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You have HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be fully removed by surgery.
  • You have already been treated with the targeted therapy T-DXd (Enhertu) for your advanced cancer.
  • Your doctor plans to start T-DM1 (Kadcyla) as your very next treatment after T-DXd stops working.
  • You have not had T-DM1 before for your advanced cancer.
  • You have not had more than 3 other treatments for your advanced cancer before starting T-DXd.
  • You have not received other chemotherapy or antibody-drug conjugates between T-DXd and T-DM1 (hormone therapy alone is okay).
