Who can take part

  • You must have HER2-positive breast cancer (confirmed by a recent biopsy).
  • You must not have received chemotherapy or HER2-targeted therapy for advanced or metastatic breast cancer before.
  • You can have had hormone therapy for metastatic disease (only one line).
  • You must have a tumor sample available from when your cancer spread.
  • You need a smartphone (Android 8.0 or newer, or iOS 15.0 or newer) to use the study apps.
  • Your heart function must be normal (LVEF at least 50%), and you must not have serious lung disease or a history of lung inflammation.
  • If you have brain metastases, they must be small (≤2 cm) and stable, and you must be on a low dose of steroids if needed.
