Who can take part
- Your child's painful baby molar must have a healthy pulp (the soft tissue inside the tooth) that is still alive and bleeding normally.
- The tooth must be able to be restored with a stainless-steel crown.
- There must be no signs of infection, such as swelling, a gum boil, or a loose tooth due to infection.
- Any natural root loss (resorption) must be less than one-third of the normal root length.
- Bleeding from the root part of the pulp must stop within 8 minutes during the procedure.
