Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) confirmed by biopsy or special scans (LI-RADS 4 or 5).
  • Your main liver tumor is 5 cm or larger and has small, twisted blood vessels inside it (3 mm or smaller).
  • Your liver is working well (Child-Pugh class A) and you are generally active (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • Your blood counts and kidney/liver lab results meet certain safe limits (e.g., platelets at least 40,000, bilirubin no more than 2.0).
  • You have not had a stent placed in your bile duct or any surgery connecting your bile duct to your intestine, and you do not have severe lung disease (COPD or interstitial lung disease).
