Early Gamma Knife for Trigeminal Neuralgia

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN)

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with classic or idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia within the last 2 years based on your history and MRI.
  • Your pain is well enough controlled with current or previous medication that you and your doctor agree no stronger meds are needed.
  • If you are currently taking pain medication, your dose has been the same for at least 3 months.
  • You have not had radiation or surgery for trigeminal neuralgia before.
