Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have liver cancer that has not spread to other parts of your body.
  • Your liver cancer can be surgically removed and has high risk of returning (for example, at least 2 tumors or tumor invasion into small branches of the portal vein).
  • You have not received any prior cancer medication for liver cancer.
  • Your blood tests show adequate liver, kidney, and bone marrow function (examples: platelets above 75, hemoglobin above 9.0, total bilirubin less than 2 times the upper normal limit).
  • You are willing to use effective birth control during treatment and for 6 months after.
