Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least one year.
  • You have trouble sleeping (PSQI score above 5 — a sleep quality test).
  • You own a smartphone and can use WhatsApp.
  • You do not take sleep medications, alcohol for sleep, or sedatives.
  • Your HbA1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is 7% or lower.
  • You do not work night shifts.
  • You do not have another condition that affects sleep (like sleep apnea, cancer, or severe mental illness).
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You can understand and follow instructions (no vision, speech, or hearing problems that would prevent this).
  • You are not currently on any other complementary treatments (like acupuncture or herbal remedies).
