Preventing varices bleeding in liver cancer patients on immunotherapy

Who can take part

  • You have advanced liver cancer (HCC) that can be treated with atezolizumab and bevacizumab.
  • Your liver is working well (Child-Pugh A, if you have cirrhosis).
  • You are able to take care of yourself most of the day (performance status score 0, 1, or 2).
  • A recent endoscopy shows you have no or only low-risk esophageal varices.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to stay in the study.

Improving treatment for stomach bleeding from liver disease
