Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You had surgery to replace both your aortic and mitral heart valves because they were narrowed, leaky, or both.
  • You did not have any heart surgery before this valve replacement.
  • Your valve replacement was not done at the same time as surgery on your aorta (the large artery from the heart) or other heart valves.
  • You did not have the surgery because of an active heart infection or a tear in the aorta.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to share your medical information.
