Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have had ITP for at least 6 months
  • Your platelet count is less than 30 (x10^9/L) and standard treatments have not worked
  • You have antibodies against your own platelets
  • You have tried at least two different treatments for ITP, including steroids or IVIG, then a TPO-agonist or rituximab
  • Your heart, kidneys, liver, and blood counts are within safe limits
