Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your ALS diagnosis is 'lab-supported probable,' 'probable,' or 'definite'
  • Your ALS symptoms (like muscle weakness) started less than 2 years ago
  • You have a score of 45 or less on the ALS functional rating scale (ALSFRS-R)
  • Your breathing test (upright SVC) is at least 65% of normal for your age, height, and gender
  • You have not had any stem cell therapy before
