Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with pelvic cancer and received radiation therapy that caused mild to moderate inflammation in your rectum.
  • You are 18 years or older and willing to follow the study plan.
  • Your blood counts and kidney/liver function are within acceptable ranges as checked by your doctor.
  • Your expected survival is at least 6 months, and you are generally active (able to care for yourself).
