Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 90 years old.
  • You are not incarcerated.
  • Your kidney stones are at least 60% calcium phosphate.
  • Your 24-hour urine pH is 6.3 or higher.
  • You are not taking certain medications (acetazolamide, topiramate, zonisamide, or valproic acid).
  • You do not have advanced kidney disease, liver disease, or osteoporosis.
