  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with COPD (chronic lung disease that makes it hard to breathe).
  • You also have chronic kidney disease (kidneys not working as well as they should).
  • Your COPD has been stable for the past month (no hospital stays or flare-ups).
  • You do not have other serious lung diseases (like asthma or lung scarring), active cancer, or severe heart problems.
