  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had a stroke in the middle part of your brain more than 1 year ago
  • You live at home or in the community (not in a nursing home or long-term care)
  • You can stand on your own for at least 1 minute without help
  • You understand spoken English well enough to follow instructions
