Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and had a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) 1 month to 1 year ago.
  • You have mild to moderate weakness in your leg muscles (like the muscles that lift your foot or straighten your knee) on your affected side.
  • You are able to follow instructions and give informed consent.
  • You have a compatible smartphone and home internet, and you are willing to use a therapy app.
  • The skin where the electrodes are placed is intact (no open wounds) and free from skin conditions that would prevent use.
