Who can take part

  • You are over 18 and had a first-ever ischemic stroke (caused by a blocked blood vessel).
  • Your stroke was more than 3 months ago (early recovery) or more than 6 months ago (chronic recovery).
  • You still have ongoing weakness or movement problems in one arm (upper limb).
  • Your stroke was in the upper part of the brain (supratentorial area).
  • You can give written consent to join the study.
