Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Your cancer must be a rare type called Hurthle cell thyroid cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and did not respond to radioactive iodine treatment.
  • Your tumors must have a high level of a specific receptor (SSTR2) as seen on a specialized PET scan.
  • You cannot have serious kidney, liver, or bone marrow problems, or certain other unstable health conditions.
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of severe allergic reactions to similar treatments.
