Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are diagnosed with stable SVT (a fast heart rhythm) in the emergency department
  • You have not received any IV heart rhythm medication for this episode before joining the study
  • You do not have a history of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW, a specific heart condition)
  • You do not have heart failure with a weak pump (ejection fraction less than or equal to 40%)
  • You are not pregnant, not incarcerated, and have not been in this study before
