Who can take part

  • You were treated in the emergency department for a fast heart rhythm called SVT (supraventricular tachycardia).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You received either adenosine or diltiazem (medicines given through an IV to slow your heart) during that visit or on the way to the hospital.
  • You are not currently having a medical emergency that affects your ability to answer questions.
  • You are not pregnant, not in jail or prison, and you speak English.
