Heart function study after heart attack with aneurysm

Acute Myocardial InfarctionVentricular Aneurysm Following Acute Myocardial InfarctionMyocardial Fibrosis

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This trial looks at how heart scarring after a major heart attack affects the heart's shape and function. It might help people who developed a bulge (aneurysm) in the heart wall after their attack.

Testing heart muscle health with PET/MR scan

This study uses a special imaging test (PET/MR) to check if damaged heart muscle is still alive and can recover. It is for people with severe blocked arteries and weak heart pumping function who are planning bypass surgery or stem cell treatment.

Heart Scar Imaging Study for Heart Attack and Failure Patients

This study uses a special imaging agent to see a protein called PDGFRß in the heart, which may help detect scarring (fibrosis) after a heart attack or in heart failure. It aims to improve how we understand and treat heart muscle damage.

FDG heart scan study for people after a heart attack

This trial studies people who had a heart attack more than 90 days ago using an FDG PET/CT scan of the heart. It may help doctors learn more about what the scan shows and how it could be useful after heart attacks.
