- You are scheduled for an urgent but not high-risk heart catheterization
- You have worsening chest pain, unstable angina, or a mild-to-moderate type of heart attack (NSTEMI with GRACE score under 140)
- You do not have severe heart failure, very low blood pressure, or unstable heart rhythms
- You are not pregnant and are 18 years or older
