Who can take part

  • Had a stent or special balloon placed in a heart artery in the past due to a heart attack or chronic heart disease
  • Currently have chest pain or documented heart stress on non-invasive testing
  • Referred for coronary angiography (heart catheterization)
  • Age 18 or older and not pregnant
  • No recent heart attack (STEMI or NSTEMI)
  • No severe heart failure or very weak heart pumping (ejection fraction above 30%)
