Who can take part
- You must be between 25 and 65 years old.
- You must carry the PSEN1 E280A genetic mutation that causes early-onset Alzheimer's in your family.
- You must be willing to have genetic testing, including for the PSEN1 mutation and APOE gene.
- You must be either cognitively normal, have mild memory problems (mild cognitive impairment), or have mild Alzheimer's dementia (based on specific memory tests).
- You cannot have other serious medical conditions like stroke, uncontrolled psychiatric disorders, seizures, or certain cancers in the last 5 years.
- You cannot have metal implants or devices that prevent MRI scans.
