Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with heart failure for at least 3 months and have symptoms like shortness of breath or tiredness even with medication.
  • You currently have atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter that shows up on an EKG.
  • You have been on blood thinners for at least 3 weeks before starting the study.
  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have not been in the hospital for worsening heart failure in the last 3 months.
