Pyrophosphate as a biomarker for artery hardening in type 2 diabetes

Who can take part

  • You are a man between 40 and 70 years old.
  • You have type 2 diabetes that has lasted at least 6 months.
  • You take a medication called an SGLT2 inhibitor (like canagliflozin, dapagliflozin, or empagliflozin).
  • You do not have advanced kidney disease (stage 3 or worse).
  • You live in the Alpes-Maritimes or Var area of France.
