Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is at least 18.0.
- You have used a medium to high dose inhaled steroid (a type of asthma controller medicine) for at least 3 months, with a stable dose for the last month.
- You have had at least one severe asthma attack (exacerbation) in the past year that happened while on a medium to high dose inhaled steroid.
- Your asthma symptoms are not well controlled, as measured by a standard questionnaire (ACQ-6 score of 1.5 or higher).
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
