Who can take part
- You are 70 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with a type of lymphoma called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and your cancer cells have a protein called CD20.
- You have not had any previous treatment for lymphoma.
- You are generally able to care for yourself (performance status 0-3, meaning you can walk and manage daily activities with some help if needed).
- Your liver, kidneys, and blood counts are within acceptable ranges for this study.
- You do not have serious heart, lung, or other health conditions that would make the treatment unsafe (like recent heart attack, severe heart failure, or an active serious infection).
- You do not have lymphoma that has spread to your brain or spinal cord.
