Who can take part

  • You are 80 years or older, or between 70 and 79 with a frailty assessment showing you are not fit for standard chemo.
  • You have been diagnosed with a type of lymphoma called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma that has not spread to your brain or spinal cord.
  • You have not had any prior lymphoma treatment (except steroids).
  • You have at least one tumor or lymph node that can be measured on a scan.
  • Your heart, liver, kidneys, and blood counts are in a certain healthy range, and you do not have serious infections like HIV.
