Leg circulation study using toe pressure to guide treatment

Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI)

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have severe leg pain at rest or a non-healing foot wound (Rutherford stage 4 or 5).
  • Your wounds are only on your toes or the front part of your foot, and your leg can be saved.
  • You have narrowings in the arteries below the knee (seen on an angiogram).
  • You have not had a major amputation of the leg being studied, and you do not have untreated blockages in the groin or thigh arteries.
