Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have tried at least two angioplasty procedures that didn't work, or you have severe hardening of the small arteries in your leg.
- You have a wound or dead tissue on your foot or toe (Rutherford category 5 or 6).
- Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is greater than 30%.
- You are not able to have a bypass surgery or another angioplasty to fix the blockage.
