New Leg-Saving Treatment for Critical Limb Ischemia

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have tried at least two angioplasty procedures that didn't work, or you have severe hardening of the small arteries in your leg.
  • You have a wound or dead tissue on your foot or toe (Rutherford category 5 or 6).
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is greater than 30%.
  • You are not able to have a bypass surgery or another angioplasty to fix the blockage.
