Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer that is limited to the chest (stages I–III).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are in generally good health (able to walk and care for yourself, ECOG score 0–2).
- You have never had radiation to your chest before.
- Your blood counts, liver function, kidney function, and lung function are adequate (your doctor will check these).
- You have not had surgery or radiation for any lung cancer in the past.
